Commonly Used, On The Job Training Techniques

One to One instruction:
In one to one instruction expert first gives the demonstration to the learner how to do the things then after expert asks the learner to do that thing while instructing to learner how to do and what to do.

Steps:
- Complete demonstration by the expert.
- Feedback of demonstration by learner.
- Learner does the things by expert’s instructions.
- Feedback of learner by the expert.
- Mutual discussion.

Coaching:
Immediate boss or trainer helps an individual in learning the skills while doing the actual job.

Project management:
For widening the skills and capabilities of a learner, a project is given this project has
objectives and time duration. Enough authority and responsibility is given to learner for accomplishing the project.

Mentoring:
Mentors works as the motivation and learning resources to the learner, the mentors is experienced and trained person that motivates and give guidelines to learner.
