What is Human Resource ?

In the primitive times, there was no hr and there was no – technology, innovations, and huge production. Since the development of production and trade people started: try to understand the role of talented and knowledgeable people. How business suffer when talented employees leave and how business gain when talented people join – this was the factor that made the corporate boss realized the value of human assets.

HR does not have a fixed pattern of definition as the corporate Gurus define. HR  connotes lot of things, values, intertest and motives. For few firms it may be limited to making payroll ,distibuting salary and fulfilling some legal hr obligation. And for some firm it may go further like taking care of emotional and psychological needs of employees.

HR is evolving and will keep on evolving, this is an art  and blend of psychology, sociology, philanthropy, philosophy and of course technology. One crucial part of hr is to research on development of the human behavior making employees happy and productive not only with in the organization but also in their homes and among friends circle too.

  • Making an organization beneficial to prospective employees.
  • Helping them in adjustment within an organisation.
  • Taking care of financial,social and other needs.
  • Matching them with the pace of organisation by training and development.
  • Giving each employee enough freedom for innovations and experiments that each one could does in way that  makes an organization and it’s people  more productive and happy.
  • Noticing direct or indirect behavioral feedback of each employees.
  • If some employee wants to leave the organization, then helping him/her in taking good alternatives.
