Straight talks about Enlightenment – U.G Krishnamurti

For U.G Krishnamurti, enlightenment is biological phenomenon. And that happens, when one is free from cultural conditioning and intellect. Krishnamurti is absolutely right, a soul is always liberated; whatever changes come, it comes to body and mind. As I feel enlightenment doesn’t happen to soul, it only happens to body and mind.

If you don’t know about U.G Krishnamurti, Please visit the below link – Meet to U.G Krishnamurti. For Krishnamurti enlightenment is natural process, as it is for everybody. But we used to twist and turn our body and mind in different ways – we hardly get the time to be normal and natural.

Krishnamurti says, every time a thought is born, you are born. When thought is gone, you are gone – How wonderful and true this statement is – but the ‘you’ don’t let the thought go, and what gives continuity to this ‘you’ is the thinking. The difference is, we are neither the thoughts nor the mind; but when we feel we are the thoughts, we forget ourselves and keep on floating with thoughts.

Krishnamurti further tells, actually there is no permanent entity in you, no totality of all your thoughts and experiences. You think there is ‘somebody’ who is thinking your thoughts,’ somebody’ who is feeling your feelings. In fact, this is a sign of dual personality, a schizophrenic. But, who understand this? everybody lives in the mind. And believes s/he is the mind, but this is just mere an illusion.

U.G krishnamurti never tried to be popular or commercialized, despite having so profound insight about spirituality. His words and statements directly attack on mental conditioning and help to open the truth. He explains: your emotions are more complex, why everyone needs to tell oneself, that one is angry or one is envious to someone else.

He clears that: there are sensations in you and you feel – happy or depressed. Who is translating these sensations to you? He tells that the ego “I” is nothing but a product like ‘red bag’, and ‘bench’ etc. How true it is! He says people put their brain cells to unnecessary activities, and that wear them out.

U.G Krishnamurti was never interested to what other Spiritual Gurus do these days. He never took enlightenment as an achievement but he took it as a natural process, and that should occur to everyone, to you and to me. He lived a simple, true life and took the life as it is. There are not much books of U.G Krishanmurti because he was never interested in them. You can easily find Krishnamurti videos on youtube.

He says: if you could be in a state of awareness for even one second, the continuity would be snapped, the illusion of experiencing structure, the ‘you’ would be collapse, and everything would fall into the rhythm.
