As the name ‘The New Technology of Achievement’ is of this book, it is exactly the same. The tools and techniques of NLP used in this book are capable to unlock and solve most of the life’s problems.

The New Technology of AchievementIt is one of the most popular book of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) edited by Steve Andreas and Charles Faulkner. It explores the work of Richard Bandler and John Grinder as well as of the associates and collaborators who participated to NLP. I am giving you the short review of this book and suggest you to check it’s practicability in real life.

The New Technology of Achievement tells the concept of NLP as well as how to use it for: ‘getting motivated’, ‘discovering one’s mission’, ‘achieving goals’, ‘better relationship’, ‘persuasion’, ‘eliminating fears and phobias’, ‘building self-confidence’, ‘self-esteem’, ‘positive mental attitude, and ‘peak performance’. This book is a combination of those techniques and insight which are required to see life from different perspectives so that favorable outcomes could be drawn. Read More »

This program helps us to know how we or other person is behaving for some particular incident or situation. We all have different Meta Programs, that’s why we all behave differently. Knowing Meta Program helps to understand one’s own and other’s behavior, and if we bring change in it – the behavior also changes.

Credit goes to all the people who worked extensively to develop this technique. This article is trying to explore the concept and meaning of Meta Program and how we use it in our day to day situations. Read More »

These three perceptual positions help us to show three (3) perspectives of single thought or situation and give us more alternate to take better decisions.

In this post, I am trying to explore one of the core concepts of NLP – Perceptual Positions, it actually helps us to break one dimensional inside the box thinking and give us two more alternate of the same reality, let’s check out.

Scene-1

Suppose you have a fight with your colleague, you will most probably think s/he is this and that… and blah-blah-blah; you have only one frame of mind and do not think more than that. What do you feel… whatever you think from your side about your colleague is right? Read More »

Neuro Linguistic Programming’s Presuppositions are conscious statements that appear to be true for each of us. These statements are like universal truth that explore a mind beyond the box and show the ways to conscious life.

Credit goes to the founders of NLP, whose insight, understanding and experiments cause this beautiful human technology to develop. Below are some NLP Presuppositions to which I consider really useful for making better mindsets.

1. The map is not territory

Each of us has different perception for a particular object, or situation. And these perceptions are filtered by our beliefs and values: different beliefs and values cause different perceptions to exist, and these perceptions also drive to our action, reactions or responses.

The map is our perceptions and territory is the reality (object or situation) that we perceive – and it may and may not be entirely or partially different to what we perceive. Read More »

Colors and Distances affect the memories of our mind, if we manipulate the colors and distances of the memories that are in our mind, the impact of those memories in our life can be reduced, increased, and neutral or disappear.

This article is trying to explain the concept behind colors and distances and how to use them, so that we can live happy and peaceful life.

The memories which are alive in our brain have bright and clear colors and near in distance, and the memories which are not alive or in dormant state in our brain are not clear may be vague and does not appear at nearby distances.

Near and colorful

Remember some moments of life to which you are unable to forget, just try a bit: and see their colors and nearness to you, they will look like clear, bright and full of colors and very near to you; like, that moment just occurred to you. The experience is good or bad doesn’t matter– what matter are the symptoms of aliveness in your brain. Read More »

This pattern helps to enjoy life and to disassociate oneself away from the unwanted perspectives like hesitation, fear and phobias etc.

In this article I try to make you understand how useful these disassociate and re-associate patterns are in our life and how we can make better use of them and how we can enjoy happiness and keep away unwanted feelings and emotions mentally.

We feel happy or pain because we associate ourselves with our feelings, emotions and experiences, and when we disassociate ourselves from our feelings, emotions, and experiences – we feel neither happiness nor pain.

Happy Moments

Just go into the happy moments of your life may be of yesterday or few months or few years older. And now re-live that joyful experience – you were just forgotten yourself and were enjoying that moment with full happiness – how joyful that was! Now make a distance from your feeling and emotions, feel like you are watching a movie from some distances – make yourself an observer of that experience. Now you will find that the joy of your experience is reduced because you separated yourself from this experience. Read More »

1. Contexts of Anger

Destructive: when expectations, desires, or passions are left incomplete then this evil takes place.
Constructive: when injustice occurs to you or others – anger raised in this situation often leads to justice. Read More »

I have friends in overalls whose friendship I would not swap for the favor of the kings of the world.
-Thomas A. Edison

Friendship is one of the most beautiful relationships, if you have good friends around you – you feel cared and appreciated. Here are few tips to get good friends fast.

1. Friendship starts from a smile

Simile is the first handshake, if there is no simile between two strangers there is a less chance for friendship. Smile is the first handshake, if you smile to anybody and s/he smiles back to you or you smile back to anybody – it means both are sharing a common behavior, now things can work, both can dare to say something to each others. When someone smiles and other doesn’t, it means the basic synchrony is not met – the other person is restraining… maybe s/he is busy in thinking something else or in bad mood; whatever, if two smiles don’t meet – the orchestra cannot be played.
