Every creation of God has some quality, as well has mastery and expertise in particular skill. Most of the “yoga exercises” come from animals; they live more naturally and attuned with nature than humans. Trees, rivers and mountain, all have something to teach us, even just their presence in our life make use refresh and alive.
Only humans aren’t motivational consultants. Real motivation comes from real elements; here is a list about what we can learn from nature and its dwellers.
Ant:
This little creature makes us learn stamina, hardworking and of course consistency.
Cat:
It makes us learn how to stretch and how to be alert and smart.
Dog:
Don’t you think Dogs are more faithful and friendly than humans (it isn’t an insult), but we can learn from a Dog how to be faithful and friendly.
Elephant:
Learn how to be humble with power and might. Elephant is a powerful creature, but it never dominates; this is one of the great qualities that need to be learned.
Fish:
Learn not to resist with natural forces. If a fish fights with ocean water, it can’t be alive. We need to learn this behavior when things aren’t in our control; we needn’t to resist.
Snake:
Learn, how to make spinal-cord flexible, and remain young and energetic – this is the secret of a Snake. And we can learn it too.
Tree:
Learn to give blessings (fruits), even people abuse (throw stones at) you. This is also the power of tolerance.
River:
Learn from a river, how to flow with present, leaving past and future aside.
Mountain:
Learn how to resists and be strong despite of the unwanted circumstances.
Lion:
Learn how to be fearless, even if the death stands nearby.
Frog:
Learn how to adjust with different environments. As, a frog adjusts with both to the water and land.
