Spiritual experiences happen when we are desire-less for them and are in present moment without any emotional setbacks and mental garbage. Below is the experience of a girl, it happened when she was neither doing meditation nor any other spiritual practice.

I do believe in her experience; one, I have heard similar true experiences, second, the girl is well educated, a doctor, less likely to come in blind faith and readymade stories. The spiritual experience looks horrifying, because everything is changed – for someone, momentarily, and for someone, forever. Let’s check out the true piece of text she sent to me. i have to tell u smtng spooky….i woke up from sleep…n my eyes were still closed but i cud stl see my room :O..i was totally alert,conscious n aware…
n m sure my eyes were closed….
just to confirm tht m not dreaming….I FORCED MY EYES OPEN…n d spell was broken!!

Read again, ” n my eyes were still closed but i cud stl see my room,” I do believe on it, whenever we are fully calm and alert, not only a room but we can see anything anywhere in the world – call it astral travel, sight of third eye, divine grace, enlightenment, or whatever.

I remember similar experience happened to Parmhamsa Nithyananda, a young guy – as he told in his video – his experience was deep and shaking, and it continued later on also, where, he was able to see anything at 360 Degree, angle.

A saint once mentioned, try to stretch the state, when you wake up from the sleep. He looks me correct, but only stretch when both the mind and heart are calm, else there is no use of stretching unnecessarily.

The girl says ” just to confirm tht m not dreaming….I FORCED MY EYES OPEN…n d spell was broken!!” spell was broken because, she started putting all the thoughts that what is happening, and thoughts came naturally to save her from un-expected circumstances. Saints say “for someone spiritual experiences start happening in pieces, for seconds or for minutes and one day in totality,” for few this  totality never comes, maybe the environment a seed needs to grow is lost somewhere. But, there is no rule for anyone; spiritual experiences can happen with anyone and at anytime.
