Yesterday night, I finished watching one of J. Krishnamurti video, it was little longer than an hour, and it took me more than 5 hours to listen & understand it by play and replay, one sentence many-times, mainly because the wisdom of J. Krishnamurti was so profound, so unique, I laughed and enjoyed the whole night.
What I learned from J. Krishnamurti, I broke it into six parts; this is the first article of those interrelated parts. Herein, we are talking, as in the title (What’re conflicts in you? Analysis never works), and in next articles will be talking about three main causations of conflicts one by one (they are: "what I’m and what I should be," "time," and "thoughts"), and then in next article, how to have real relationship in life, and next how to have freedom and security in life.
If you don’t know about J. Krishnamurti, let me tell you, he isn’t a philosopher, he isn’t a thinker, he isn’t a Guru, and he just helps people with what he has realized in his life. He is amongst the rarest individuals to whom I truly like.
Now, come to our issues…
What is conflict?
I don’t think it needs any definition. Each one of use is aware of it; we have conflicts in our emotions, we have conflicts in our thoughts, one thought is saying something and other thought is saying other thing; we have conflicts in our decisions and choices. And this conflict provokes all kinds of hell in life we can ever think of.
What is analysis?
Two things are needed in analysis, one is object and second is analyzer, then analysis can happen, where we try to find out all the figures, facts, pros & cons, and actions & reactions of the object.
Analysis is the wastage of energy?
If you are a psychologist or a psychiatrist, maybe you don’t like "Analysis is the wastage of energy," whereas you might have learned "The history analysis" to treat your patients. But, we are talking with the wisdom of J. Krishnamurti. Right! Let’s go ahead without any prejudices! …When an individual does an analysis of himself, he divides himself into two parts: one is object and second is analyzer. And, this "gap" between an object and an analyzer, tears him apart. And, if you do analysis to yourself, then who is the analyzer? Does analysis differ from the analyzer? The solution isn’t in the analysis; it only gives gap and more – conflicts. The solution is to find out the "causation" of the conflict. The solution isn’t in analysis, it is just the wastage of energy, and therefore analysis never works.
As said, in next articles we’ll be talking on three main "causations" of conflicts, and in next two articles, about having real relationship in life, and security & freedom in life. The purpose of small-small inter-related articles is to discuss and understand the subject easily and thoroughly. And, in such articles I’ll be expecting your participation to evolve subject matter to more refined levels.
