Sometimes, your Guru asks you to do free service like arranging shoes and sandals of the people, serving food to them, moreover cleaning toilets. And, you wonder, if your Guru might have gone mad! But, actually, he loves you and wants your spiritual progress with rocket speed. He wants you to lose your ego, he wants you to stop your thoughts – and he knows pretty well, how to make done the things.

What happens, when you do free service, first of all, the greatest hurdle of spiritual progress, the ego, comes to an end. And, second, when you do not desire any result from your service, your thoughts also come to an end, and you feel calm and cool.

If you never did any spiritual service, just try to observe the people, who do it and watch how cool and calm they become. But, a person who chooses the spiritual service, that he can do it and can’t do other, like he can serve the food but he can’t arrange the shoes and sandals of the people, actually … still, he is playing with his ego. The real service is when a man accepts any service without even a line of hesitation on his face.
