Few days prior to leaving the physical body, “the vital force,” starts going away with each out-breath, and a person dies. Even if, it is unbalanced within the body then it creates mental, physical and emotional problems. Well tuned “vital force,” gives superb life!
Call this vital force, “Qi,” or “Prana.” If you are not Chinese, you may get problem in speaking “Qigong,” but it is called, somewhat this way: “Chi + Kung, Chi’Kung .” It is better if you ask some Chinese and see him speaking this. So, Qigong refers to “well tuned vital force” in the human body. The vital force, is only the sought after thing in all the Pranayams and Yogas.
Flow of vital force
According Chinese medicine there are 400 acupuncture points in the body, the vital force flows in them; but, the main meridians are 20, in which 12 are called standard meridians, and 8 extraordinary. Studying acupuncture points, in itself is a medical science, but for a quick look, the 12 meridians’ organs are as: Lung, Heart, Pericardium, Triple Heater, Small Intestine, Large Intestine, Spleen, Kidney, Liver, Gall Bladder, Urinary Bladder and Stomach. And each organ represents its particular Ying or Yang, and its particular element (they are five: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water). You may also want to know about 8 extraordinary meridians, but we are skipping this, because one single thing is interconnected with several other things and it’s little complicated; maybe, we talk next time; let’s go back to vital force. The story goes like: to kill a demon, the Lord Shiva gave six fire sparks from his third eye to the God of wind and God of fire, and asked them to give to river Ganga … later on with the Ganga, they came out as the six beautiful babies; when Parvati saw them, she hugged them and a miracle happened – all the babies joined into one, having six faces and twelve arms. Later on when the baby grew, he fought with demon; the demon couldn’t be killed but turned as a Peacock and a Crow. Lord Murugan didn’t leave him; he used the Peacock as his vehicle, and crow as a flag sign.
As each Lord has his special time of worship, the Lord Murugan has two favorite times: one is each Friday and second is on Karthigai Nakshatra. It is said, who worships him on Friday, Lord Murugan fulfils his wishes. And who worships him on Karthegai Nakshatra, Lord Murugan removes his problems and librates him. Read More »
Beloved Osho,
For the last week I have known that I have cancer. From that time, except for a few moments of panic and fear, I have felt a deep calmness and relaxation coming into my being.
Have I already given up my life, or is this the quietness of acceptance?
Osho says:
We have given up our lives at the very moment when we were born, because the birth is nothing but a beginning of death. Each moment you will be dying more and more.
It is not that on a certain day, at seventy years old, death comes; it is not an event; it is a process that begins with the birth. It takes seventy years; it is mighty lazy, but it is a process, not an event. And I am emphasizing this fact so that I can make it clear to you that life and death are not two things. They become two if death is an event which ends life. Then they become two; then they become antagonistic, enemies.
When I say that death is a process beginning with birth, I’m saying that life is also a process beginning with the same birth – and these are not two processes. It is one process: it begins with birth, it ends with death. Read More »
If there is no authenticity in life, something artificial will fill the gaps, isn’t it? It’s up to you, what you prefer; dark is always there, if there is no light. If anybody wants to leave any addiction, first step is to bring authenticity in life.
“The force of wild horse
The sharp shot arrow
I’m power of the wind
The innocence of eyes
The coolness of the moon
The light of twinkling stars
I’m boundless sky …”
Isn’t this poem arising your passion and the song of your heart?
Expressions break mediocrity, and poetry helps in it; it helps to dive into unknown and turn it in known. The people who control your expressions, rule you! The only way to set free is to be expressive. Authentically!

Our emotions and thoughts give us power in life; they also deplete our energy to the extent one can go mad and can get incurable diseases. Nothing happens, just by a chance!
Contradictory thoughts leak our energy; unexpressed emotions give blockage; unauthentic life gives disease. Everything is self created, either “be light unto yourself” or “the dark forces will over-power you.” These dark forces are nothing but the lower consciousness of the people who are around you and indulge in contradictory thoughts, negative emotions and unauthentic life. Save your life, it’s precious!
Most of the time, we think about going in some spiritual retreats, and obviously go!
How about, if we design some spiritual course for ourselves? For example, taking leave from office or work and living in complete silence for few days; or, doing some other activity which truly helps us in expanding consciousness and singing the song of our heart.
Or, we need somebody to tell: “do this and don’t do this.” Aren’t we Guru of our own existence?

Doesn’t it look like: a person who suffers a lot has more “ego?”
Or,
A person, who has ego, suffers a lot; more “ego” means more suffering! … And, vice versa.
Isn’t it that, killing of “ego,” is source of happiness? And, building of it, is the source of — all the unhappiness? Without ego, a beggar can be ecstatic and with ego, a king can be in misery. The game of ego, think it and kill it!

“While one person hesitates because he feels inferior, the other is busy making mistakes and becoming superior.” -Henry C. Link
“The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.” -John Powell
“Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.” -Albert Einstein
“We must not say every mistake is a foolish one.” – Cicero
“An expert is a person who has made all the mistakes that can be made in a very narrow field. ” -Niels Bohr
Above quotes are from the wise guys, just meditate a bit over them, and find out how fear of doing mistakes blocks our potential, and leaves us just a – mediocre … and our dreams never come true! Though, we can’t say all the mistakes are good, if we fail to get insights from them. Perhaps, we need to redefine the difference between a mistake and a crime.
