The word devotion is somewhat synonymous to feminine, whether they are mothers, sisters, wives, lovers or the devotees to God. The power of emotions that drive their devotion is incredible. Below are few female devotees those I like the most:
She was a devotee of Lord Shiva, it is said she took Lord Shiva as her husband. Her poetry is the great gift to all the devotees and spiritual seekers.

She was a devotee of Lord Krishna; she sang for Him, she danced for Him and she gave away everything for Him.

She was a devoted wife, to her husband sage Atri. And the mother of famous sages: Dattatreya, Durvasa and Chandra.

The Spiritual Gurus go straight across the heart, they straight talk about liberation — they are not interested in the ramification of desires, as they are the endless; that’s why they don’t talk about manifestation — they are like the Shiva, they destroy everything transitory that comes between you and your liberation. Their ways are clear and open.
The Occult Gurus more talk about manifestation and enjoyment of senses. For them the liberation goes through the indulgence of life, which never happens — as senses are never satisfied. The main thing: they never “press” the point which is beyond the body and mind, as Occult is nothing but the manipulation of energy using the mind.
The Nirmankaya is one of the rarest accomplishments on the spiritual path. Where a Yogi never needs a womb to come in a human form, he simply can create a human body by will.
The word Nirmankaya is the composition of two words, Nirman+Kaya: Nirman, means to create or to build, and Kaya means body. So Nirmankaya Yogis or say Gurus are expert to take any human form, they need not re-incarnate in a womb.
That’s why some gurus who have left their physical body can come and talk to the people, they are still alive but yet not in the gross physical body, they live in some other plane and help the needy.
Some kids when for them there is time to play with toys, they get enlightenment — they are called Bala-Yogis. In India there have been numerous Bala-Yogis. Two are as:
Baba Balak Nath
Shiva Bala Yogi
And many others unknown to me. The wonder is, the life works unexpectedly, when truth strikes in right awareness it can change anybody’s life, at anytime.
Just trying to make a list, don’t know how long it will go … and it will keep on updating frequently. If you know any Guru or Master that isn’t in the list, you can let me know, I’ll add up here.

Comparatively new, Nisargadatta Maharaj and Maharshi Raman have been outstanding Advaita Guru. Current stream of advaita is flowing from Poonjaji to Mooji, and Gangaji etc. Though, there are plenty of Advaita Gurus and Teachers … but teachings are more or less is the same, as Nisargadatta Maharaj and Maharashi Raman used to have.
If you are looking for Advaita books, please look for Ashtavakra Gita and Upanishads. Books of Nisargadatta Maharaj and Maharshi Raman are also outstanding.

If you look for Saptarishis (Sapta means seven, and Rishis means Sages or Munis or Rishis), you’ll find that different scriptures mention different names; it looks like Saptarishis are the seven positions, where different Rishis are being assigned time to time to fulfill their work. Check the list of Rishis that come in Saptarishis:
Ramcharitmanas is one of the greatest Hindu Scriptures, where the "story" about Ram (Lord Ram) has been written. It is said: Tulsidas was the reincarnation of great sage Valmiki; Valmiki wrote Ramayana. If we check both Ramcharitmanas and Ramayana, both convey the same story about Ram. If we compare in terms of quantity, Ramcharitmanas can be said the shorter version of Ramayana. Often, Hindu Gurus asked people to read Ramcharitmanas daily, as it supposed to help in spiritual progress.
For reading the biography of Tulsidas, check this Wikipedia link. And, to download comlete Ramcharitmanas, visit this "link" of Gita Press, from where not only Ramcharitmanas but you can also download Hanuman Chalisa and Bhagavad gita (all pages).
