He was born physically in 1908, became disciple of Baba Nityananda, gave shaktipat initiation to thousands of people, and helped the tradition of Siddha Yoga to grow. You can know all his biography at this link, books at this link, and mantra chants at this link. In chants you can find, Swadhyaya: includes, Kundalini Stavaha, Hymns to Shiva, Shri Devi Strotram, Pasayadan & Mahalakshmi Stotram, etc; fast chants: includes, Kali Durga, Shri Gurudeva Sharanam, Om Gurudev etc. The collection of books and chants are good.

Shiridi Sai BabaHe gave the true teachings of life; he never gave any dogma or belief to follow. He never stressed to change religion or God. He was the revered Guru for all the castes, and religions. He was, he is and he will be – the heartbeats of millions of people. He is our Sai Baba, ever alive, everywhere and with us.

Sai Baba’s life span moves around from September, 1838 to October, 1918; yet, there is lot of dispute when he was born, he was supposed to happen in Shiridi from somewhere and lived there until his physical death.

If you happen to visit Shiridi, don’t forget to buy his famous red book, “The Saicharita,” which tells something about (yet not everything) Sai Baba’s life and his teachings. In spite of having miraculous divine powers, he ever lived a simple life, not expecting anything from anybody, and giving the spiritual teachings person-to-person. He was called as Sadguru, Yogi, Sufi, Peer, and Incarnation of God; it is said, his physical body used to turn in particular God, whom a man would aspire him to be.

Still, he is supposed to alive in his Angelic body, and helps those, who call him by heart. He was a rare Guru, and it is said his aura used to spread 50K.M wide, around the Shiridi. The famous phrase to greet each other while remembering him is “Sai Ram!”

His public reputation is said to be started since he represented Hinduism at Chicago’s Parliament of Religions in 1893, he was one of the key disciples of famous Guru Ramakrishna Paramhamsa, he also established Ramakrishna mission for spiritual awakening.

Swami Vivekananda is said to be born in January, 1863, Calcutta, and his physical death in July, 1902; he lived for 39 years, and left an unforgettable memory of his messages. Mother Meera is said to be the avatar of Divine Mother (Shakti). When she was asked about her work, she replied," First of all, I bring down the Light and establish Peace; also, I help the people to surrender to the Divine, to remember the Divine and to be faithful and sincere to their religion or to their belief. I help people to be happy in their families."

It is said at the age of six, she had her first Samadhi that lasted for the whole day. Currently, she gives darshan to people in silence, and help people to clear their energy blockage by her divine grace – for making their spiritual progress much easier. Rumi is the short name for Jalāl ad-Dīn Muḥammad Rūmī, a sufi mystic with full of wisdom and extra ordinary sense of understanding, who looked everything with spiritual aspects and beyond limitations.

Poetry (spiritual), music (spiritual) and dance (sufi whirling dervishes) were the main theme of his teachings, he used "Allah," the God, as a "lover" in his poems. You can look his biography at Wikipedia (link), but Guru wants you to check some of his poems in both text and video.

The word "Mahavira," means great hero, he was born to King Siddartha and Queen Trishala and was known as "Vardhaman," but due to his extraordinary efforts, he was called — Mahavira. His physical life span is supposed to spread between 599BC to 527BC, and he was known with various names like: Vira, Viraprabhu, Sanmati, Ativira and Gnatputra, etc.

He lived as a prince, but around the age of thirty (30), in search of truth, he gave up everything, his kingdom, family and even to his clothes also, and started meditating and searching truth, by following various practices, e.g., mainly of harmlessness to everything. And, later on he got what he was seeking for.
