… is to adopt the qualities of our creator in our intentions and motives.

In-fact, nobody is ignorant about this, all of us know what are the God’s qualities. In every religion or path we follow, it is there.

The suffering in our lives only comes when the quality of our intentions and motives – is reduced to hell. The intentions and the motives are the energy which manifests everything in our lives. If intentions are bad, we get bad things; If good, we get good things, this simple! The only exception is: sometimes we get bad situations in-spite of having good intentions … they come to make us learn some lessons which we were missing but were essential for our growth.

People give emphasis to follow just one Guru, and give analogy of one patient versus one doctor. But they forget that these days multiple doctors treat a single patient, someone checks the body, someone checks the heart, someone brain … someone writes reports for ultrasounds and other check-ups – and on a whole, the set a patient “all right.”

The true spiritual knowledge is something which helps us to know the purpose of our lives and helps us to get that.

The true spiritual knowledge never binds nor it sets the limit rather it gives profound crystal clear understanding.

It makes us independent, it wakes us to roar what we are. It grounds us in our own source, in our own identity.

It returns us the parts of ourselves which we have lost in pain and suffering and in other ups and downs of the life.

Greatest signs of a true spiritual knowledge

Thoughtlessness: it will send you beyond the mind, in “I am” jut the “I am,” — a feeling of existence but no mind exists there.

Unblocking: it clears the blockages, whatever is stuck inside the mind, it clears those things.

Universal applicability: it doesn’t bind for a particular path or group. It’s more like a breathing air — available to everyone across the limited boundaries.

A spiritual seeker is in search of himself. If he searches external things, he mayn’t be called – a spiritual seeker. If you don’t know what a spiritual seeker seeks, what the curiosities he has … and what he wants, you can consider the followings.

A spiritual seeker wants to know from the core of his heart.

From where he has come?

Where he exists beyond or within the body?

Where he will go after the transitory life?

It is what which witnesses all the happiness and sufferings but remains unaffected, untouched and unstained?

What is unreal, what is real and who he is?

What is his relation with the universe and with all the beings of the universe?

He consistently looks into his source; he remains in self inquiry and self observation. He searches for Gurus and techniques those can help him to meet and to be stable in his source.

Guru says, you can’t understand a spiritual Guru with your mind. A Guru never exists in his physical body, words, audio and video – even, he communicates through them. But, he doesn’t live in those things, even in his body. He is with unlimited, he has reached to unlimited. And, when you say, you have certain "copyright" over your Guru; you may get a hard slap! A spiritual Guru belongs to every seeker; he is not limited in anyway.

His work is to transform you, if you seek – you will be transformed. And he never wants if you get stuck with his body, image or anything. If you are stuck with his body then he will be helpless to give you all the things which exist beyond the body.

Gautama Buddha used to say to his disciples "If I come in your meditation, immediately cut off my head. Don’t cling to me; otherwise I will become a barrier." Buddha was correct; he knew all the tricks of mind that a seeker faces in his spiritual path.

And, now we need scientific proofs too!

Asking "Where does God live?" or, “Is there God?” is like asking to a fish "Have you ridden on a camel in desert?" If, fish is imaginary like human, it will say "Many times!" Otherwise, it will say "You stupid!"

We all know that "God is our father," and He is not a human like us, He doesn’t live in body, but He is super intelligence. He can be approached by hundreds and thousands of religions, and God made everything, Right!

Guru is just wondering, if the creation can have control over the creator? If creation controls the creator, then creator is not a creator. Isn’t it? But, creation can approach the creator, and cannot control in any way possible.

Sadhu is a person who follows the path of God realization thru self realization. A Sadhu can be called as Sanyasi, Baba, or Mahatma – these are spiritual words, the word Baba can be used in spiritual or in normal course of life. If, Guru says, Deepak Chopra is a Sadhu, you might get shocked that he doesn’t live in cave and doesn’t have long beard and red dress.

A Sadhu can have red dress & long beard, but this is not the main requirement to call as a Sadhu, this is exterior. A Sadhu can be with or without a particular dress; the path, where Sadhu moves on and on, belongs to self-transformation thru the practice of Yoga, Meditation (Dhyan), Mantra, Ritual, Scriptures and various things.

Sadhus and Begging

Guru has met to some Sadhus (who wear red clothes and live in secluded places), and finds: due to lack of money they remain hungry for several days – unless somebody gives them something to eat. Generally, Sadhus don’t beg money, but due to lack of it, they go through excruciating physical sufferings.

Guru says, he himself goes to various Gurus, and still goes – yet, all Gurus differ in their ways and procedures. He was able to…because, he never used his prejudices and expectations, he put them all aside.

Prejudices and expectations are the greatest hindrance, if you expect, you will see the result under your expectations, under your limitations; if expectation is met then Guru is fine else not. If, Guru compares between prejudice and expectation then he finds that prejudice is the inner center of expectation, it is more deep, subtle and harmful than expectation – it has layers and layers of certain beliefs and thoughts built upon it.

Guru can give you more than your expectations but Guru can’t change your prejudices. Because expectation is on the surface they can be operated well, but prejudices can’t be operated – Guru is helpless in this. Only you need to make efforts to put them aside.

You can only listen to a Guru, if you don’t use your prejudices and expectations; if you do, you will only listen according to the prejudices and expectations and it will not be the "right listening." You will distort the words, sentences, and meaning and translate them according to your limited memory.

The word "Guru" itself is the source of inspirations, guidance, teachings, knowledge and experiences; it is one of the most powerful words both in materialistic and spiritual life. And, it looks more flexible and loving than the word "Master," it shows some dominance, whereas the word "Guru" can be felt as a "friend," "father," and nearby "God" for some people.

Why we need a Guru?

We need a Guru, when we believe someone knows better than us, and can help us to achieve what we are looking for.

Types of Gurus

I put Gurus in three categories: first is, when we start learning a,b,c… and finished with some degree in hand; second is, when start looking for materialistic things like a good career, a good job, life-partner, a car, home, good business, property…all kinds of money and honey and xyz; third is, when we start looking "Who am I?" and "Who is God?" and other meanings of life.
