Mantra chants spread positive vibrations, clean our bodies (five bodies as Sarvasara Upanishad tells) and aura … control thoughts and do lots of things.

The scriptures which say "Aham Brahmasmi," or "I am that", or "You are that," do not mean any physical location to meditate upon, when the phrase "the cave of the heart" comes.

What do you think? Guru feels, "the cave of the heart" refers to be just "here and now," in the present moment, that is eternity itself, and everything happens in this eternity. The "here and now" is very auspicious, all the awakening happens in this moment. And, it will not lead something into past and something into future; it will put you as you are, in the most potent form.

There are lots of words like fraud Guru, sex scandal video, Guru with actress have been associated with Nithyananda in past couples of month. And, surprisingly nothing happened to Paramahamsa Nithyananda smile, it remained as it was. But, I was surprised to other things which not everyone cared.

When people were taking against Nithyananda, I was just watching some of his videos at YouTube and listened to his teachings, the video “living enlightenment” was the outstanding one and then I started watching several videos of him. And, I was wondering why people don’t notice good things about this “man.” Whatever the case was with actress…whether it was true or false…is it going to help somebody?

In ancient time, in India, a spiritual Guru used to live with wife and children and still Gurus have, it’s personal choice and personal life and it is said Krishna, the Lord of Hindus, used to have thousands of Ranis (Queens), and most of the time of his life Krishna passed with girls, and girls (Gopis) used to cry in his remembrance. I’m not comparing Krishna versus Nithyananda, but just thinking who has the rights to look into someone’s personal life. Fitting “spying cameras” in somebody’s bedroom is not good, if someone fits in yours, how would you feel? Anyway, leave it; we come to the main issue.

You need something in you, if you want lot of people start loving you. It’s true, a person can’t make happy to all the people in this planet. But, it’s a great joy, when, not the one or two, but thousands of people start loving a person. Avadhoot Baba Shivananda ji is one of them, the followers (sadhaks), who take Diksha (learning) from him, love him. The example you can see on social networking sites, i.e., facebook, orkut etc., and on others free blogging platforms, i.e., blogspot, wordpress etc., Though, Baba ji doesn’t meet personally (physically) with everyone, but his influence is great. His main Dikshas (teachings) are of Shambhavi, Sri Vidya, and Prati Prasav.

Here, are the reasons, why do people love Baba ji so much?

First: Baba ji says, “You are the creator of your destiny.” Read More »

What is A Soul

Upanishads say a soul is ever pure, unstained, and eternal; it can’t be killed or destroyed or harmed in any way. And moreover… a soul is God (read Isha Upanishad). Most of the spiritual Gurus and books claim about soul purity, irrespective to mind’s impurity, mind is considered separate from the soul. Here, mind isn’t the brain (a physical aspect) –otherwise astral travel isn’t possible. But, how a soul can separate from the mind? A mind appears to be the part of the soul … within the soul.

Feel Like God

Upanishads are the source of wisdom and for the true knowledge of liberation; they give instant realization of truth. They never discriminate between an ordinary human being and a God. They never give complex that you are little and God is great.

They say,” The self is God”. And this “self” in beyond the mind and its thoughts – incomprehensible! But this “self” is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient; it is unborn, uncreated, pure and eternal.

Below are the some statements of Upanishads. When we read them, we feel like – Aham Brahmasmi! (I am the God!).

Here it goes – Read More »

Secret of Spiritual GrowthNo matter what type meditation technique we use, no matter what type of Yoga we do – if intentions are not pure I doubt about spiritual growth.

Well, whatever we want to be– a hypocrite or a genuine person choice is just ours.

What are intentions?

Intentions are the feelings, emotions and thoughts for oneself or others. Intentions are the driving force and the essence of a person’s understanding and knowledge.

Where are intentions?

Intentions are behind words, expressions and actions; they are behind the outer appearances of a person. But they can be felt if we try to see behind outer appearances.

How to go about with it?

We can’t know a person, if we just believe on words whether they are sweet or harsh. It is possible the person who is having harsh words for you, have good intentions for you and it is also possible the person of sweet words with wrong intentions.

If we want to judge a person, then it is always better to judge by intentions not by anything. Because, only good intentions support us in life.

Why intentions are the secret of spiritual growth?

1. We are whatever our intentions are Read More »
